The Nutrition and Wellness emphasis appeals to students who want to work in settings where they would apply knowledge about nutrition in the community setting. (This is not a dietetics program.) This emphasis builds upon the Family and Consumer Sciences focus, which is the application of the sciences to the betterment of individuals, families, and communities.
Students may be interested in combining this program with Exercise Science, Hospitality Management, Public Health, as well as other areas of personal interest.
