There are few careers more fulfilling than that of an educator. If you love English but don’t want to limit your academic career to one area, the English Teaching Minor is the perfect choice. For example, a high school student whose first interest is math education but who also enjoys English could earn a Bachelor of Science in Education degree with a math major, and a second teaching option in English. This would allow them to gain licensure in both areas.
