The Department of Chemistry at Pittsburg State University is the only department to offer an ACS-approved degree within 90 miles of Pittsburg.

Our graduates will be qualified for a variety of positions across multiple areas of the graphics industry, including, but not limited to, entertainment, business, advertising, and education. Opportunities are vast and continue to grow as technology advances. They include but are not limited to:

Pittsburg State's Department of Chemistry prepares students for careers in science, chemical engineering, pharmacy, or chemistry teaching through Departmental degree programs, pre-engineering, teacher education, and other University programs that require rigorous training in chemistry. It offers eight Bachelor of Science Degrees, two Master of Science Degrees and two minors.
